JUNIOR PROJECT MANAGER (Assistant to Creative Director)

Crookes & Co is a dynamic, creative agency specialising in bespoke branding and marketing solutions. We are seeking a highly strategic, exceptionally organised, and target-oriented individual to support our Creative Director. This role is integral to ensuring seamless operations, strategic alignment, and the successful execution of projects. This position could also be filled by a highly skilled and efficient Personal Assistant with extensive experience.

JOB OVERVIEW

As the Junior Project Manager you will serve as the operational backbone to the agency, managing schedules, optimising workflows, and driving key projects to completion. You will work at the intersection of creativity and strategy, ensuring that ideas translate into impactful, on-time, and on-budget deliverables.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Executive & Strategic Support:
  • Act as the right-hand to the Creative Director, managing schedules, priorities, and workflows.
  • Facilitate strategic planning, helping to align creative vision with business objectives.
  • Anticipate needs and proactively resolve challenges before they arise.
  • Prepare presentations, reports, and research materials for pitches, client meetings, and internal strategy sessions.
  • Manage high-level communications, serving as a liaison between the Creative Director and clients, internal teams, third party suppliers and stakeholders.

Project & Operations Management:

  • Oversee the execution of creative projects, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and objectives are met.
  • Develop and implement project management processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Track progress on key initiatives, ensuring all moving parts align with agency goals.
  • Manage workflow between teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and timely delivery.
  • Identify and mitigate risks that could impact project success.

Efficiency & Target-Driven Execution:

  • Implement time management strategies to maximize the Creative Director’s efficiency.
  • Streamline administrative processes, ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities.
  • Proactively manage and prioritize tasks in alignment with business goals.
  • Monitor KPIs, providing insights and recommendations to optimize performance.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 3+ years experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, or Project Manager in a creative, marketing, or agency environment.
  • Proven track record of strategic planning, project execution, and operational efficiency.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and project management tools (Teamwork, Trello, Monday.com, etc.).
  • Experience in managing high-profile projects and executive-level communications.
  • Background in brand marketing, advertising, or creative industries is a strong advantage.
  • A degree or diploma  in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
